Darnelle Pusateri-Quinn (“Nelly”), RYT 500, LMHC. Has practiced yoga for 18 years and has been teaching it for almost 10 years. In addition to her work as a yoga teacher, Nelly has been a practicing psychotherapist for more than 13 years and been supervising teams of clinicians engaged in serious trauma and other behavioral health work for more than 8 years.
As a clinician and clinical supervisor, she has trained over 100 behavioral health therapists and paraprofessionals in mindfulness and yoga and incorporates mindfulness and yoga into all of her therapy work. Nelly’s spiritual journey has led her to a deeper exploration of yoga, Native American tradition, and other spiritual practices that have ignited her soul, connected her to Source, developed her energy practice and work, and fueled her desire to help others remember their spiritual essence.
She is also a conscious mother of 2 beautiful earth angels and resides in Delray Beach, Florida where she was born and raised. All of us who know Nelly, know her to teach from a place of Love. She works with student’s energy to provide a safe place for them to heal/evolve their body, minds and spirits through their practice.
Her yoga class is not only physically challenging but also an emotionally and spiritual journey. Her style is a dynamic blend of Vinyasa yoga with intentions and mantras (and a little bit of playfulness) woven throughout the flow. This helps students to uncover and release energetic and emotional issues stuck in their physical body, while challenging the body, steadying the mind, and reconnecting students to a space of love, joy and beauty.
