Love is My Medicine Fest

Love is My Medicine fest is a celebration of community, music, family, and connections! Organized by local Delray Beach musician Johan Danno, the event is a celebration to release his new song “Love is My Medicine” and a thank you party for the city and community before he leaves on his Australian tour.
The event will include live music, vendors, food and activities for children provided by KID SURGE ( KID SURGE has gained a reputation for their all child inclusion program that makes learning & fitness fun, regardless of physical ability or learning styles. KID SURGE teaches sports, dance, Zumba(c) and other physical activities for kids 2-14.

Johan Danno & the Wildchildz, a fun soul-folk-rock band blending blues, reggae, and medicine music that will have you dancing and singing while uplifting your spirit with their infectious positive vibes! Developing his sound from his love for Eddie Vedder, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, and Trevor Hall, music and meditation were the medication that changed his life. In 2017 while on tour in Australia he was named, “one of the top 5 songwriters in Australia.”

Tu Hawks featuring hard driving electronic beats fused with tribal drums and ancestral voices, the Tü Hawks fronted by Xavier Hawk and Hawk Stillwind unify the forces of creation carried by each individual in attendance and weave their stories, their desires, and their passions together into a vision of the future that reflects the true values of divine humanity. This is no simple band. This is a freedom movement, and the song of the earth will be heard, felt, and expressed through the people of earth and the music, and it will rock you.

Flint Blade is best known for creating live, uplifting soundscapes of voice, beatbox and the Chapman stick, a unique guitar/bass taping instrument. Drawing influence from Dub Reggae, Jazz, and World Music, Flint crafts his own unique “Jambient” style of music. Flint tours nationally and has produced his own albums since 2005.

Doors will open at 5pm for a donation-based yoga class offered followed by the Love is Medicine Fest 6-10pm.

Tickets are only $15 in advance or $20 at the door
Admission is free for chidren 14 yrs of age and younger
